()()()Abby & James get married()()()

I'm definitely at that age when everyone  gets married! At the end of April, I went to my 3rd wedding (out of 7) of the year!

Sometimes when I go to a wedding I think, "how can this wedding be different/more unique than any other wedding that I've been to before?" Sometimes they're not, but lately I've been pleasantly surprised!

The first wedding I went to this year was at a beautiful beach in CDM. Then a quaint little back yard wedding for my dear friend Hannah, and then THIS one was at a ranch on a hilltop!

This couple was actually amazing because they technically built their site of their ceremony from the ground up, literally! It was a very unique, very country, and very rustic wedding with an amaaazing view! Not to mention a super cute baby horse that became a good friend by the end of the night!

This is definitely a wedding I'll remember! Congrats to you both!!! I loved it, and i enjoyed my time celebrating you!

:::/\/\/\BIRTHDAY BURGER BASH/\/\/\:::

On Zac's side if the family, everyone's birthdays are during the warm months of the year for the most part. So that means you're going to have a joint birthday party with whomever's birthdays are closest to yours. This makes things MUCH easier when trying to celebrate many birthdays close together!

I'm my case, my birthday is closest to my two nieces Zara (who turned 7), and Quin (who turned 2). I love these two so much,  so I'm so happy I get to share a party with them every year, but this one was unique because we were celebrating Mother's Day as well!

My sister-in-law Lindsay is an amazingly talented cook, and especially when it comes to yummy treats! Since Quin is her daughter, and in-n-out is Quin's faaaavorite place to eat, Lindsay made  everyone little hamburger cupcakes!! They were so cute and looked so cool, and tasted sooo good! It was a fun day!!

|||palm|||springs|||

This past weekend I got to go to Palm Springs on a much needed girls trip! We stayed at a friends house, lounged at her pool, and soaked up those 105 degree rays! We also hung out a bit at the Ace Hotel, where we were able to grab some of my favorite Stumptown Coffee, and we also checked out the pool party at the Rivera! I definitely recommend the Rivera! It was beautiful, and the pool scene was amazing! All in all, I came home with a sunburn, and a new appreciation for Palm Springs!

>< KIM & RYAN'S WEDDING ><

Yesterday two friends of mine, Ryan and Kim, got married! The ceremony was held down on the beach in Crystal Cove, which was a b-e-a-utiful location! The wedding was small and intimate, and the scenery was absolutely stunning.

My husband and a few of his fellow coaches/friends had "the best idea" to all coordinate outfits with each other for the wedding, and no, they were NOT groomsmen! This actually turned out to be way more funny and awesome than I expected. The combination of their coordinating outfits with the amazing back drop was a stellar combo!

So basically as soon at Kim and Ry said "I do", the boys started in on their picture ideas. The whole situation was just hilarious, and quite enjoyable. And while they were brewing up more ideas for shots, I was able to sneak in a few pics in with Zac and my friend Jessica.

After the wedding, we of course went to the reception and created our own version of the Harlem Shake! This involved one of our friends on the ground "dancing" in a fetal position, if you can imagine that! (And ps, if you don't know what the Harlem Shake is, look it up on YouTube ASAP!)

The final event of the day was a party at what we properly nick named, Club Intersect, where Joey, aka DJ Pushplay, decided to come out from retirement and put on an awesome show for us! I've seriously never seen so many [married or in a relationship] guys wanting to dance with each other before! It was just an absolute mad house full of loud music, crazy lights, and pumped up people! Not to mention that there's an entirely new element thrown in when you're in a Gym full if equipment, and the people you're dancing with are strong and able to do crazy circus tricks! It was just nuts!

So needless to say, we all had a blast! Congrats to Ryan and Kim! I hope you guys had as much fun as we did!!

•••B I R T H D A Y•B O Y•••

I've been blessed with an amazing husband, and today was his 25th birthday!! Birthdays were always a big deal in my family growing up, so I always try to make it a special day for the people I care about!

The fun for Zachary's birthday actually started last night, when we went to an impromptu soccer game for the LA Galaxy team! We ended up going with a few friends of ours, and it was great time, even though our team only won by one PK point! Haha.

But the fun REALLY started after the game when we were trying to leave the parking lot, and no one could move, it was so packed!! Sooo, we decided to have a parking lot party! We turned up the tunes, and started dancing and honking our way out of the parking lot!

Once we were fiiiinally out, we met up for dinner at Nick's on 2nd. Zac and I had this amazing hickory bacon cheese lettuce wrapped burger that was so yummy! I definitely recommend it! Also, today happens to be our friend Craig's birthday as well, so the birthday boys decided to have a little dessert, and blow out their candles together!

This morning we woke up, and I made Zac a (gluten free) pancake breakfast with eggs and mango, and tangelos, and we watched church online from home! Then, upon his request, we went to see the Croods! It was such a cute movie! We really enjoyed it!

Today was such a nice and sunny day out, so we decided we should not waste it, and do something outside! So we went to play mini golf! I haven't played in years, so I was pretty terrible! But Zac did very well, and ended up beating me by 20 points! (Don't judge).

Right as we were finishing up our last couple holes, we started feeling really hungry! So we headed to our "most important" part of the birthday day- a trip to get all you can eat Sushi! Every time I asked Zac what he wanted to do for his birthday, his response was SUSHI!! So, we had sushi! It was delicious, and made us really full and tired, so we REtired to our home to watch yet another movie, eat ice cream, and drink hot coco.

Needless to say, I believe the birthday was a success! I love spending time with this guy, and I love that he's mine to celebrate! Happy 25th to my Zachary!!
