New everything!!

Today is the first day of my life.

Ok, not really my LIFE... Just my blogging life. This is something I have been wanting to do for quite sometime. What actually pushed me over the edge, you might ask? Julie and Julia, that's what! I just watched the movie last night for the first time, and was totally inspired to A. Start cooking!! And B. Start a blog!!! I thought, 'you know, if Julie can do it, so can I. The only difference is, I will not, may I repeat, will NOT be attempting to cook through Julia Child's cookbook! I do, however, honestly wonder how many people, like me, have been inspired to start blogs, or start cooking because of that movie?! It was seriously inspirational! Anyway, here I am, ready and willing to open my mind up and spill it all out here:0)

Today, like every Tuesday, I am at work! I am a commission hairstylest, and so far this month has been very slow. This is, however, very typical for salons during this time of year. So what better time to start writing, huh?

My suggestion for today is to try something new with your hair, with your look, with your life choices... I mean why are you waiting for someone else to tell you where when or how you should live your life? It's your life! Start something new!

My wedding plans are going well. At this point, I only have about 7.5 more weeks to go till the big day! Ahhh! It's crazy to think about! In less then 8 weeks, I will be a wife! Wow. I think we are attempting the impossible though: from engagement to wedding day- 5 months, and between wedding (and ALL that that entails) and honeymoon expenses, we are keeping it under $5,000! It IS possible! I promise! My moto in life, or at least right now, is: 'you can find it somewhere else cheaper'. And I wholeheartedly believe this!

This week we are working on sending out our invites- totally hand made, and totally amazing!

Well, that's all for now, I suppose. I need to learn how to do all the fancy stuff on here so that this will become the MOST AMAZING BLOG EVER!!! This time I'll have to settle on being so-so;0)
